The ProComp range of shock absorbers is based around a selection of twenty possible cylinder sizes, each available as ES3000 [cellular gas] or ES9000 [nitrogen gas pressurised]. The table below gives the travel, extended and collapsed lengths of these alternatives. Part numbers shown, for convenience, relate to ES3000 shocks; for ES9000 Series the first digit is changed to '9'. Dimensions given are for versions with a standard sized eye at both ends, measurements taken between eye centres. All sizes are also available with a threaded pin top mounting - in this case measurements are taken from the base of the pin [not end or chassis mounting point]. Standard bush sizes are 5/8" I.D. in rubber, but urethane or ¾" may be specified. Many sizes are also available in pin fitting at both ends, or eye top and pin bottom, as used on coil-sprung Land Rovers, Nissan etc., and special vehicle specific fittings are also included where necessary. All this means that we offer over two hundred different permutations from stock, and should be able to match your requirements for any modified vehicle or special. Please do not concern yourself with attempting to provide the correct complete part number, we will handle this!
